Where a Will is already in existence and has not already been amended, then it may be amended as follows:-

1 In clause (............ where there already exists a pecuniary legacy clause) I wish to add the following pecuniary legacy:-

I GIVE the sum of £....... to the Cats Action Trust (North & West Wilts) (Registered Charity No. 1048779) of 9 Bath Road, Melksham for the general purposes of the said Trust AND I DECLARE that the receipt of the Treasurer or other Proper Officer for the time being of the said Trust shall be a sufficient discharge to my Trustees who shall not be bound to enquire into the application thereof AND I FURTHER DECLARE that if the said Trust has changed its name or amalgamated with or transferred its assets to any other body then my Trustees shall give effect to the gift as if it had been made (as the case might be) to the body in its changed name or the body which results from such amalgamation or to which the transfer has been made.

Note(1) Two witnesses required who should not be beneficiaries under the oringinal Will or under the Codicil. Improper execution can invalidate the Codicil.

Note(2) Where a Will is not already in existence then one must be made disposing of all the Testators assets and including the pecuniary legacy to the Cats Action Trust (North & West Wilts).

Note(3) The Codicil must be placed with the original Will where one is already in existence.
